The story of the Erwin Heritage Park project…

Generous donations have allowed the society to build the Erwin Heritage Park to capture components of history, heritage, and health. The park includes a half mile paved walking or biking trail with park benches, picnic tables, and story boards pertaining to Erwin Townships history for our visitors. The park also features the area’s first pickleball court, a children’s playground, and an original Erwin township Finnish log sauna to the property to be restored. The park welcomes guests year-round with idyllic cross-country ski and snowshoe trails that connect to the fabulous ABR trail system. A fenced in area displays numerous antique pieces of farm equipment, many used by Erwin Township Pioneers. The ETHS remains excited constantly thinking of new additions for our Erwin Heritage Park.

The Pickleball court is where KP Silberg School once stood.
